Drippin' Chicken!
Guess What!? Our old frig took a dump too! When I went to get something to defrost for dinner I noticed that there was slime juice dripping out of the freezer.
Mark had been in it earlier and said, "Ya know, when I went in for a drink....and stopped mid sentence." Well I had a trash can full of chicken, hamburger, pork chops, shrimp and veggies. I think it happens at least once to every family.
The old frig was at least 20 years old and it came from JC Penney. It held up pretty well, I thought. I was able to find an almost identical one at Lowe's. It was a simple stainless steel "looking" for $450. Not too bad considering we keep it in the laundry room and I just needed something that worked.

wow that's a nice fridge for $450. It is amazing the one we are using from Jens parents is said to be at least 30 yrs old. They just dont make them like that anymore. Jen stayed logged on so this is from
Dave
funny... i read this a couple days ago and didn't have time to comment so i saw your name and i thought i need to come back and do it... then i came into the comments and there was my name and i was like oh... i did comment. and then i was like oh... no i didn't. sorry. that was silly.
i agree. that's a pretty nice looking fridge for 450. stinks about all the lost food though. we were lucky enough to hear ours going out... so nothing really went to waste.
That stinks about the fridge. Broken fridges must run in the family.
I was a bit confused by "Jen's"
1st comment also. I was wondering why she was talking like that about herself.
