I like the idea of blogging....I really enjoy reading everyone else's pages much more than updated my own.

Dave, where have you been? Are you boycotting blogs? I haven't seen a comment from you in a long time!
So, here is my update.
Today was a very early morning for me. It started with a 7 a.m. meeting. I'm still on the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce. My term will end in June. That will not be too soon. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It keeps me in the know and I see a lot of the people I've known and worked with for years. I just don't want any more formal commitments for a while.
I also helped Lily and Mel with a termite job. That's always fun, seriously, and its good exercise. I get to drill holes into the concrete all the way around the house and after Mel shoots the chemical, Lily and I fill the holes back up with cement. My muscles are already sore!
I got my hair colored after lunch and saw new person. She did a good job. I tried to tell her that my gray was hard to cover and when she was all finished, she said the next time she does my hair she will have to use something much stronger because the gray didn't cover very well. I'm happy with it though. It looks natural. I like it.
We're expecting a lot of company this weekend and I'm really looking forward to that! The Stealth is being retired. We have friends coming from all over, many we haven't seen in years. It will be a sad send off but a fun weekend.
Mark gets home tonight from Vegas. He's so lucky! He got to spend a couple of days with Jenn, Josh, Grace, Mason and Jacob.

You for got Chris... I am not boycotting but you can only check in so many times and not see an update. I am glad you are back. Maybe Shari can keep you going for a while.

i read on shari's that you are going to orlando... is that for a vacation?
Wow, Connie! What a job with the termite thing... My Dad just went through that whole termite ordeal too...I got 15 e-mails from him asking me whether he should do the process that you described, or the tent thing....after throwing up my hands, and finally telling him that he needed to poop, or get off the pot, he decided to do the tent thing....my Dad doesn't make ANY decisions without mulling it around in his head for 6 months to 5 years before he acts on it....as you know, with termites, they don't wait that long, lol.
My grays are VERY hard to cover too...Mom says hers are too...not sure if we were hereditarily cursed with this little annoyance, or if all grays are just a pain in the rear....What I did find out was that the shampoo, Nexxus, strips my hair of any color that I have paid to put on my head, and that left me getting too many color jobs...UGH! Obviously,I am NO LONGER doing THAT anymore...My hair dresser gave me this conditioner that makes me want to stick my head under the covers, lol...it gets really cool and tingly...it's kind of strange, but in a "cool" way, lol.
WOW...Sounds like you have been busy! Did you do something different to your hair or just a new stylist? Cuz if so I want to see pictures! I love mini makeovers. And I know what you mean..it is a lot more fun to read all the other blogs than update.
